KCAEP AGM

Contributed by Sue Duglas:

Kulnura Community Arts & Entertainment Program

One more interesting year has passed and another is ready to be planned. In 2008, we enjoyed a delightful Pantomime, made some clever Sculptures, and Belly danced, with regular classes, performances at festivals, a Hafla and Christmas party. We also helped the Country Fair with the circus workshops. Belly dancing continues with lots of support from our far flung communities. Another Pantomime is booked for the winter school holidays. Other suggestions for this year include Tai Chi, Hoola Hoop exercise, Didgeridoo for boys and clay work. Drumming has again been requested and we are exploring various teachers and costs. The Website is a work in progress. Thank you to the Federal Government for a Volunteers Grant received recently, and to the Mangrove Mountain & Districts Country Fair for their generous donation. Our AGM will take place on Friday 6th March, from 11am, at my home, RMB 2250/58 Finns Rd, Kulnura. If you are interested in cultural things for children or for yourself, come along and find out how to make things you want to see or do happen. Enquiries Sue Douglas ph 43761350
